The origin of
the name
The Sardinian name Tirìa means “broom”. It is one of the typical flowers of our Mediterranean flora and one of the typical descriptors of Vermentino. It has a beautiful intense yellow color and an unmistakable scent. It represents strength, modesty and nobility of mind and for this reason it seemed a suitable name for this wine.
